Privacy Policy
Who is responsible for your data
TARGOO is run by [YOUR FULL LEGAL NAME], [YOUR REGISTERED ADDRESS], [BUSINESS / TAX NUMBER IF YOU HAVE ONE]. Questions about your data go to [YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS] and are answered by a person, not a ticket system.
What we collect and why
- Order details — name, delivery address, phone number, email, what you ordered. We need these to make and deliver the contract you entered into (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Messages you send us — kept so we can answer you and find the thread later (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- Accounting records — order and payment records we are legally required to retain (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Website and analytics data — only if you accept it. You can refuse and the shop still works (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Newsletter address — only if you sign up, and you can unsubscribe from any email we send (Art. 6(1)(a)).
Who else sees it
- SHOPLINE, which hosts this shop.
- The carrier delivering your parcel, and the supplier packing it — they get the delivery address and nothing more than they need.
- Payment and accounting providers where relevant.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell your data, and we do not hand it to advertisers.
Transfers outside the EU
Orders are packed and posted from outside the EU, so your name, address and phone number are transferred to the supplier and the carrier there. That transfer is necessary to perform your contract (GDPR Art. 49(1)(b)) and is limited to the delivery details.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records: [5] years, as required for tax. Support emails: 2 years. Newsletter address: until you unsubscribe. Analytics: [RETENTION PERIOD] or until you withdraw consent.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how it is used, and take it elsewhere in a portable format. Where processing rests on consent you may withdraw it at any time. Email [YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS] and we will answer within one month.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In Poland this is the Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.
Cookies
Cookies that are strictly necessary to run the shop and your basket are always on. Anything else — analytics, advertising and pixels, including TikTok — runs only after you accept it, and you can change your mind at any time. [KEEP THIS ACCURATE: if you install a TikTok or Meta pixel, it must not fire before consent.]
